Agreement

By using It Works (https://itworks.now), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

It Works is a personal tracking tool that helps you:

• Record intentions ("The List")
• Track income and its sources ("The Map")
• Visualize progress through activity rings
• Identify patterns over time

The app is based on principles from the 1926 book "It Works" by RHJ, but is not affiliated with any publisher or rights holder of that book.

Your account

Registration: You need a valid email address. One account per person.

Security: You're responsible for keeping your login secure. Magic links should not be shared.

Accuracy: Provide accurate information. We may terminate accounts with fraudulent information.

Your content

Ownership: You own everything you create in It Works — your intentions, your income entries, your client names. We claim no ownership.

License to us: You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the service to you. We will never use your content for any other purpose.

Your responsibility: You're responsible for the content you enter. Don't store illegal content or content that infringes others' rights.

Acceptable use

Do:

• Use the app for personal intention and income tracking
• Track real income (money actually received)
• Be honest with yourself

Don't:

• Share accounts with others
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use automated systems to abuse the service
• Reverse engineer the app
• Use the service for illegal purposes

The philosophy

It Works encourages tracking actual income — money that has arrived in your account, not projections or promises. This is a personal practice tool, not an accounting system. For tax and legal purposes, consult appropriate professionals.

Important: It Works does not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, or any financial institutions. All income data is entered manually by you. We have no access to your financial accounts, transactions, or any external financial data.

Subscriptions and payments

Free tier

Core features are free forever:

• Unlimited List entries
• Unlimited Map entries
• 30 days of history
• Single device

Premium tier

Additional features require a subscription:

• Full historical access
• Pattern analysis
• Multi-device sync
• Data export

Pricing

Prices are displayed in the app and may change. Current subscribers keep their rate until they cancel.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime in Settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

Refunds

We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you haven't extensively used premium features. Contact mihai@itworks.now.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be unavailable for:

• Scheduled maintenance (we'll notify you)
• Unexpected technical issues
• Circumstances beyond our control

Intellectual property

Ours: The It Works name, logo, design, and code are owned by RESPIRA. Don't copy or redistribute them.

Yours: Your content remains yours. We don't claim any intellectual property rights over what you create.

The book: "It Works" (1926) by RHJ is in the public domain. Our app is an independent implementation inspired by its principles.

Disclaimer

It Works is a personal tracking tool, not:

• Financial advice
• Accounting software
• Tax preparation service
• Therapy or mental health treatment

The app makes no guarantees about outcomes. "It Works" is a reference to the book's title, not a promise of results.

Track your intentions and income honestly. What you do with that information is up to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the service "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to fees you've paid us in the past 12 months

This doesn't affect your statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws.

Termination

By you: Delete your account anytime in Settings. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

By us: We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any prepaid subscription fees.

Disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. For EU consumers, this doesn't affect your local consumer protection rights.

We prefer to resolve disputes directly. Contact mihai@itworks.now first. If we can't resolve it, disputes will be handled according to applicable law (or your local courts if EU consumer law applies).

Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified via email and in-app at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
